2024 Projects
2024 Transformation 10
Completed September 2024
Arguably our biggest transformation to date this redesign, and another challenging one with access only through the house. The big goal on this one was to maximise entertainment space, and get the garden onto one level, which we achieved. The garden itself comprises of 2 separate pure grey Indian sandstone patios with cobble borders and jointed with black resin jointing. We added 2 new fences, and a slatted fence to hide next door’s wall. Other exciting features include a black pagoda, stepping stones with plants and blossom gravel, and a new raised bed to the rear. |
2024 Transformation 9
Completed September 2024
A big transformation in Bedlington had two main goals; to be lower maintenance and to be safer for a lovely customer. We achieved this by removing the uneven paving, and splitting the garden into clearly distinguished levels. The garden features autumn brown Indian sandstone mixed sized paving for the paths and lower patio area, as well as a stylish sandstone circle. All paving is finished with a buff resin jointing compound. We also brought the tired and broken water feature back to life with new gravel and planting, and added a stunning greenhouse. |
2024 Transformation 8
Completed July 2024
Completed in Stakeford, we transformed this garden replacing the worn and tired block paving with mixed sized raj green Indian sandstone. With new sub base added for stability, and 3 new recessed manhole covers, the job was finished off using buff resin jointing compound. We also used some stone to hide the brick work between the different levels, and a 10mm gravel border to aid with drainage. Having been effected by pooling in the past, a lot of work went into correcting the levels alongside the house. |
2024 Transformation 7
Completed June 2024
An interesting challenge for this transformation, starting with a lift and relay, whilst tying in some new rippon buff sandstone slabs where needed. We also added a new recessed manhole cover to match our laying pattern, and jointed with a buff resin jointing compound. Finally, we strengthened the existing raised beds before cladding in stained gravel boards to bring them back to life. Sadly no before pictures on this one as the site was cleared before we arrived. |
2024 Transformation 6
Completed June 2024
A nice little transformation in Stakeford, utilising a split level design to best work with the gardens existing levels. Using only 600x600 Pure Grey Indian Sandstone slabs, bordered with cobbles, we created a new patio space to really finish off the existing extension to the property. We then created a new path and border to the shed, flowing down past the side of the house and to the back door. We stained the sleeper using cedar wood stain, something we will definitely utilise again. Finishing touches came with black resin jointing, 10mm Black Granite aggregate and a recessed manhole cover. |
2024 Transformation 5
Completed May 2024
A challenging project from start to finish with this North Shields terrace, with access at a minimum, resulting in a lot of hand balling down the street and through the house with waste and equipment. The result made it all worthwhile though. The yard features two areas of raj green cobbles, set off nicely with a buff resin jointing. Against the house we added some composite decking and a new shed. Linking the three sections together is a Cotswold chipping walkway, with a sunken and raised sleeper bed for planting. The garden was finished off with a new gate and some stylish slatted fencing for privacy. |
2024 Transformation 4
Completed May 2024
Our largest and most complex transformation yet. Our fourth transformation included a pond which had sentimental value having been built by the client’s father, something we wanted to really make a striking feature. We achieved this by bordering the pond with stone coloured composite decking, blossom gravel and Kandla grey sandstone setts. The garden them features 2 large patio areas using only 900x600 grey sandstone flags and linked by blossom gravel paths. The garden was finished off with 20mm grey gravel, black resin jointing, and black metal edging for the lawn. |
2024 Transformation 3Completed April 2024
Our third landscape of the year was quite a transformation, turning a large, unused space into an attractive entertaining space. Here we used treated green sleepers to creat a new, split level design with 2 new sets of steps and a tasteful raised bed running flush with the patio. The garden uses the ever popular Kandla Grey Sandstone, charcoal jointing, 20mm grey gravel, and some locally grown turf for a new and improved lawn. We also did a little spot of dry walling, to give the existing planter a new lease of life. |
2024 Transformation 2Completed March 2024
Our second transformation of the year involved creating a new driveway for two lovely customers in Ashington. To do this, we cleared and excavated the area, before building back up with substantial hardcore, gravel grids and finishing with 20mm grey aggregate. A simple, clean grey sandstone path runs to the door with a new recessed manhole cover. To help with levelling, we used treated green sleepers to edge the garden. |
2024 Transformation 1Completed March 2024
Our first landscape of 2024, and what a difference to the garden this simple transformation has made. Our clients wanted to create a larger, more attractive entertainment space. To do this we pushed the grass back, creating a small step up to the lawn using treated and dampproofed sleepers. The patio itself was completed using Kandla Grey Indian Sandstone in a random pattern configuration, finished with darker jointing and a 10mm Black Granite aggregate border. |
