2023 Projects
The Sloped GardenCompleted November 2023
Our final landscape of the year in Ashington gave us the challenge of creating a more accessible garden for our lovely customer. With a split level design connected by a 'ramp', the garden's design lessens the slope whilst giving a stylish terraced area for entertaining. Materials on this job included the ever popular Kandla Grey Indian Sandstone, 20mm Grey Gravel and 27mm artificial turf. |
The Grey GardenCompleted October 2023
The 'Grey Garden' was a nice challenge, with plenty new products being used for the first time within the garden. The design was simple and clean, using the composite decking to bridge the gap between the patio and path. The patio consists of only 600x600 Kandla grey Indian Sandstone, with sett edging, anthracite decking and black basalt aggregate. We also constructed a new fence, whilst repairing another. |
Project PagodaCompleted September 2023
'Project Pagoda' was by far our biggest project to date - with a gruelling 28 tonnes of earth handballed through the narrow access of the garage, but we won't cut any corners to get the job done properly. The job itself consists of 2 Grey Indian Sandstone patios connected by stepping stones, polar white gravel, green slate borders, and an imposing 24ft x 8ft custom made pagoda. |
The Stakeford SequelCompleted August 2023
A returning customer from April 2023, this time wanting their front garden transformed prior to their resin driveway installation from another company. A very trusting customer design wise, and the brief simply asked for 'low maintenance'. We installed a new Grey Indian Sandstone path, 20mm Decorative Grey Gravel, a beautiful Grey Sandstone Circle, solar lights and feature planting. |
The Newbuild ProjectCompleted July 2023
We were given a complete blank canvas on this new build in Ashington back in July, and taking inspiration from their ideas, we designed this stylish, modern space. We used Grey Indian Sandstone to create two entertaining areas, linked with stepping stones, and polar ice gravel borders. We also brought in plenty new soil, before adding locally grown turf and galvanised steel edging. |
The Welcome Addition Completed June 2023
For the 'Welcome Addition' project, we were tasked with creating a new entertaining space for a family in Ashington, that would compliment the existing garden. The result, a stunning 15m2 Fossil Mint Indian Sandstone patio, raised using treated green sleepers for better levelling. We then finished the job with some custom slatted screening to as a 'divide' from the greenery. |
The Tricky TerraceCompleted June 2023
The 'Tricky Terrace' was completed in South Shields in June 2023, with access to the yard simply via a narrow gate at the back. The challenge, to lift the yard into the 21st Century and provide a more inviting space for the young couple to enjoy. The job consists of Grey Indian Sandstone, slatted fence inserts, closed board fencing, a custom bin store, and bordered with Dove Grey gravel. |
The House on the HillCompleted May 2023
The 'House on the Hill' was a challenging project completed in Morpeth, with tight access limiting how supplies could get to the property. The job itself consists of some stunning Fossil Mint Indian Sandstone, Raj Green Sandstone Sett borders, treated sleeper beds with custom trellis, and 20mm golden gravel. |
Fossils & FlowersCompleted April 2023
The 'Fossils & Flowers' project was our first time using the Fossil Mint Indian Sandstone, and what a beautiful product it is, with some much colour and variation packed into each stone. The garden was designed completed by M L Potts and incorporates a split level design, raised planters, newly planted borders edged with Raj Green Sandstone Setts, and finished with Cotswold Chippings. |
Wansbeck BankCompleted March 2023
The 'Wansbeck Bank' project was our first landscape of the year, a tricky challenge, with nowhere bar the garden itself to store waste or supplies. The client asked for low maintenance, but a garden they could be proud of. We delivered, with stunning Kandla Grey Indian Sandstone, modern grey slatted gate and fencing, 40mm green slate borders, and 10mm limestone filter drainage. |
